My, my, my, what a grumpy little man you are! Please, take the bet that I am one of the hopeless PUM(Fat)A whiners - and I must commend your clever injection of the word "Fat" in the acronym, however, am surprised you didn’t choose something a little more daring like P(C)U(NT)MA.

I wrote John F. Harris Editor-in-Chief, Ryan P. Mannion, Managing Editor, Website Technology and more than 50 emails to Website Feedback asking that a feature be added to enable members to ‘block’ PMs from specified other members - and received NO response.



A perverted member of Politico has been sending this user ID - literally - HUNDREDS of PMs - the ones I opened accidentally were quite insane - rantings about the WTC, terrorism, his inability to hold a job, how the FBI is 'after him' - some, 20 pages in length - pockmarked w/ vulgarities, obscenities and photos of certain parts of his anatomy and more recently, threats of violence and vows of revenge. Following me from thread to thread, he would post personal messages of a disturbing sexual nature - and when I did not respond, his posting became even more vile and obscene.



Politico, impotent in their willingness or ability to do anything, did nothing and advised me to set my profile to 'private.'



Anyhoo, that did nothing - you can still receive PMs even if your profile is on 'private,' so I decided the best thing is to no longer use this ID.
